a bit about this blog :

this blog was started in 2023, on a whim of sorts. I knew I wanted to be able to get things out there in some way or another, now-a-days the easiest way to do this is by having social media. Social media had been something I was struggling with for some time, I liked some aspects of it but the negatives outweighed the positives and I decided to step back.
Of course this didn't last very long, and when I had first started the website it felt like I needed to keep social media in order to make it worth it, since that was how most of the engagement on the site happened. So for the majority of this sites early years I had Instagram, then I finally pulled the trigger in early 2025, this time permanently deleting it all.
I knew that at that point, whoever was interested would still be able to find access to the website. At the same time I knew that this was not the website most people wanted to go, I was not reporting on important current events, providing consistent knowledge or guidance, or even posting that often at all.
That's sort of the truth about this website, it's not really supposed to be anything but fun & maybe a little interesting.
I am not well educated in anything in particular, nor do I claim to know much at all. This is just a way for me to get all of my thoughts out in some way that blends them all together and keeps them in one place. There may be things that are of interest to other people, especially ones I know personally, and in that regard it's also for them.
a bit about me:
My name is Lillian Timms, I am 24 years old, and I live on an island in Washington State. After being born in Oregon and living in California for a few years, I was moved to this island when I was 6 years old. I went to the local public school pre-k through 12th grade, and did not go to college after graduation. There was quite a few reasons for this, but mainly because I hadn't decided on what I wanted to pursue. After a year or so I decided that I would take a break from my job as a manager at a local ramen shop, and go travel in Europe, specifically England and France. The plan was to spend one month with family, then spend three months WWOOFing in France. Due to covid-19 the trip was cut early, sending me home to be isolated with my then partner. Shortly after we arrived home I found out they had been unfaithful to me our entire relationship.
I continued to work at the ramen shop after it opened back up, I struggled with alcohol abuse and shaved my head. Eventually I moved on from that job, spending a couple years as a nanny to two awesome kids. Which is around the time I met my current partner, Kevin, who I have now been with for about three years. While looking for a little more work I found a job at a local farm to table restaurant, where I started working as a server. In six months time I was beginning to take over as the manager, and that's where I am still landed.
Kevin and I have two cats together, Dennis, an older orange and white male cat, and more recently, Gene, a little calico and white girl kitty.

My Dad is a European car mechanic, which inspired and made feasible my interest in Saab cars. I currently have a 1996 Saab 9000 Turbo, with the most beautiful leather seats and head liner I have ever seen (usually in older Saabs those both deteriorate first).
My Mom is a landscape architect, so growing up we spent lots of time in the gardens she designed and maintained. It peaked my interest in plants and gave me a green thumb. It also gave me an appreciation for a well thought out garden.
